In Tuesday's Amherst Town Election, Phoebe Hazzard & Vira Douangmany were elected to serve on the Amherst School Committee. Neither Lawrence O'Brien & Amilcar Shabazz ran for re-election for their seats after each serving a three-year term, & the election filled those vacancies. The next meeting of the Amherst Regional Public School Committee is next Tues, April 14th.
