Tomorrow (Wed, June 3rd): Ice Cream Social for all families. Hosted by the Crocker Farm PGO. We'll be serving ice cream starting at 6:20 pm. This event will be held rain or shine -- The weather looks beautiful! Families are invited to come & have their own picnic dinners beforehand. Saturday, June 6th. Amherst Tree Warden, Alan Snow, & the Amherst Public Shade Tree Committee will be at Crocker Farm to plant trees for our school, starting at 9 am. The locations for the 10 trees to be planted are marked with wooden stakes (if you were wondering what the stakes are for). They are seeking families to help with the plantings. Mon, June 8th: Crocker Farm Teacher & Staff Appreciation Luncheon hosted by the PGO during each of the lunch periods.
Wed, June 10th: PGO coffee & dessert, & tour of Crocker Farm led by Principal Derek Shea. All are welcome! Coffee will be in the cafeteria, starting at 6:15 pm. School tour at 6:30 pm. Tour will be followed by a quick PGO meeting @ 7 pm. The PGO is looking for volunteers to serve on the PGO Board (many positions open, including co-chair) & help run the PGO next year. Thurs, June 11th: School Field Day. As with last year, the PGO is coordinating parents signing up to bring in watermelons for a refreshing field day snack. We are hoping for one per class, plus a few extras (watermelon is yummy & goes quickly). If you can bring in a watermelon, or are available to help cut up & serve them in the morning or afternoon, please signup here (FieldDay_Watermelon).
