Volunteers Needed for PGO's Barnes & Noble Book Fair: Sat, Nov. 12

Dear friends & fabulous volunteers, 

The Crocker Farm PGO‘s 4th annual Bookfair is at the Hadley Barnes & Noble this Saturday, Nov. 12. We have a great lineup of activities for the day.

We are looking for more volunteers to help with the PGO table—to be the faces of the book fair, to tell people about the book fair & to encourage them to support it at checkout, give out info on the day's events, & help with the table of books from Crocker Farm teacher wish lists that B&N ordered for us, to make it easier to purchase the books on behalf of the classrooms.

The PGO will be staffing the table from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with shifts of 1 to 1.5 hours. 

The shifts are as follows:
10 - 11:30 a.m.
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
12:30 - 2:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (shift is full; thanks!)

Volunteer with a friend to make it more fun. :) Please email Tracy Zafian (tracy@zafian.com) if you are able to spare some time.

Book Swap this Week - Setup Today, Class Visits Wed & Thurs

More volunteers & books welcome

One of Crocker Farm PGO's favorite events of the whole year, the Book Swap, is happening THIS WEEK.

EVERY child in our school will browse among hundreds of donated books, used and new, and pick a few to take home, ABSOLUTELY FREE. 

Thank you to everyone who has contributed books and/or offered to help with the swap.   We are still collecting books today until fterschool. 

We are still seeking parent/guardian help to make this incredible process go smoothly, including set-up on Tuesday afternoon, & overseeing book tables when classes troop through on Wednesday and Thursday. If you can help, please sign up for a slot on SignUp Genius - even if you can only take half a slot, that's OK.

Crocker Farm Book Swap - April 13th & 14th

Bring your used books (all reading levels preschool through 6th grade; fiction/nonfiction) to school by Monday, April 12th!!  We’ll have collection boxes in the front lobby & parent pickup areas.

 

The more books we collect, the more we’ll have to give away!
