Call for Kid-Size Instruments!

There is an overwhelming number of children interested in our instrument program—but we are short several instruments. We are in need of kid-size violins, violas, cellos, trumpets, clarinets, saxophones, trombones, drums, etc.

Any and all instruments will be accepted. If you have any instruments you'd like to donate to Crocker Farm Elementary, please bring them to the front office.

Thank you!

National Walk to School Day: Wednesday, Oct. 5

WALK TO SCHOOL WITH YOUR KIDS!!!

Wed. Oct 5, is National Walk to School Day!
Walk from your house to Crocker Farm—or join a larger group walking from the Mission Cantina/Sibies Pizza parking lot (corner of Rte. 116 and Pomeroy Lane) to Crocker Farm.

The group will meet at 8:10 a.m., and start walking at 8:15 a.m. Kids who prefer to bike can do so—they'll get a head start on the sidewalk.

Rain or Shine we will walk! Bring umbrellas and perhaps a change of clothes for the kids if it’s wet out. See you Wednesday morning!

Auditions for the Hampshire Young People’s Chorus

Auditions for the Hampshire Young People’s Chorus

Does your child like to sing?  The Hampshire Young People’s Chorus (YPC) is an award-winning youth choir, currently accepting new members.  YPC offers children the opportunity to experience choral singing in a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere.  Healthy vocal technique and fundamental music skills are taught through singing a wide range of music from many styles and traditions.  The choir’s roster includes more than 45 children in two age divisions – Concert Choir (grades 3-6) and Chamber Singers (grades 6-10).  Rehearsals take place on Tuesdays in Amherst.  For more information, please visit www.hampshireypc.org or call the director, K.C. Conlan, at 413-530-9337.
