Healthy Food, Healthy Communities

Dear Parents, Are you concerned about the food we eat, the water we drink and their effect on you and your children’s health? The League of Women Voters of Amherst is presenting a program addressing these concerns on Thursday evening, September 27, 7:00 PM at the Crocker Farm Elementary School cafetoria. The speaker is health and environmental advocate Dr. Jill Stein. Her topic is “HEALTHY FOOD, HEALTHY COMMUNITIES”. She will discuss why real democracy is critical to the availability of healthy food, quality health care and truly healthy communities. The meeting is free and open to the public.
