Amherst will celebrate All Hallows' Eve downtown with Halloween Fest 2008, which includes trick-or-treating, a costume parade, carnival and a haunted house Oct. 31.
The event is a downtown tradition. Trick-or-treating will take place from 4:15 - 5:30 pm. The parade begins at 5:45 pm at Sweetser Park goes up Main Street, to North Pleasant and Kellogg streets, ending in the parking lot plaza adjacent to the Bangs Center. Halloween Fest 2008 concludes with the Halloween carnival and haunted house, from 6:30 to 8:30, at the Bangs Community Center.
