Community Event: Meet the Candidates for Select Board

On Thursday Oct. 16th the Chamber of Commerce is hosting a "Meet the Candidates Night". The 4 candidates for the open Select Board seat will be at the Middle School from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. The forum's purpose is to help educate the community about candidate positions affecting the well-being of the Amherst area. Calvin Brewer, Aaron Hayden, David Keenan and Vladimir Morales have all agreed to participate. As a nonpartisan body, the Chamber will not officially endorse any of the candidates. After a question/answer period, you'll have the chance to meet and talk with the candidates and other community leaders about the kind of progress you want to see.
