WHEN: Every Friday starting September 17th, 2010, 9:30am to 10:30am.
WHAT: Spanish Immersion is a method of teaching where the majority of instruction is conducted in Spanish and the emphasis is on content instead of the language itself. Children will learn to interact effortlessly and efficiently in Spanish at the same time they learn the curriculum of a typical pre-school program.
TEACHERS: 1) Veronica Burbano has a Masters degree in early childhood education and speaks Spanish as her first language.
2) Lissa Pierce Bonifaz has a Ph.D. in Bilingual Education and speaks English as her second language.
