Musical opportunity

New at the Red Barn -- Orff Music!

Mundito Music for Pre-K's and K's
with Leigh Salvage

FREE DEMO CLASS January 19, 9:30 AM

Leigh Salvage, MEd uses her training in Orff Music, her years of experience as a classroom music teacher, and her love of music and movement of all kinds in her group, Mundito Music & Movement of Many Cultures for Pre-K's and K's.

The Orff Approach is based on learning through play. It has four stages: imitation, exploration, improvisation, and composition. By the end of the session children are composing their own songs and dances -- based on the different cultures introduced in class.

Includes a Songbook and CD of songs you can sing at home.

"I'm excited to work with the children's creativity as we compose, write & improv together! We sing Spanish, Chinese & French language songs.
"We dance, play rhythm games, have an opening friendship circle, instrument play & more. It will feel like pure fun and yet their little musical brains and bodies will be exploding with development!
