Today @ 3:30 & 7:00 pm, the Amherst school district is holding public forums on the Wildwood/elementary school building study & potential reconfiguration. Forums at the HS auditorium. Childcare is available at the forums, & transportation to the forum is available upon request.The district's recommendation is for the 3 elementary schools to change to 2: (1) Crocker Farm would become a preK-1st grade townwide school, & (2) a new townwide school would be constructed for grades 2-6. The School Committee is scheduled to vote on the project next week.
